The Elephant in the Room: The Finishing Touches
I've reached the home stretch with my elephant commission and am starting to add the final layers of paint and the finer details.
This has certainly been one of the most exciting and rewarding paintings that I have ever completed. As an Artist, I find myself constantly trying to improve, trying to beat my own personal best (like I'm in competition with myself, really) and this piece has certainly challenged me to do just that.
