I am officially a Conservation Artist!

I am so excited to announce that I am officially part of the Artists for Conservation group!

Since becoming an Artist, it has always been my mission to try and make a difference in any way that I can and 10% of my profits have always gone to conservation and wildlife charities.

Now, alongside Artists for Conservation, I can contribute even more and be part of an awesome group of Artists working to make a difference to the natural world!

If you don’t know, Artists for Conservation is a leading global Artist group, consisting of some of the world’s most renowned Conservationists and Artists.

What do Conservation Artists do?

As a conservation Artist, it is my goal to not only raise awareness of issues surrounding wildlife and the environment, but to raise money, donate time and artwork to charity auctions and exhibitions and educate younger generations about the importance of conservation.

Current causes and projects

My artwork is currently geared towards raising awareness of the vulnerability of species due to global warming and habitat loss. My latest global warming piece, Thin Ice, draws attention to the rapidly melting ice in the Arctic, whilst my penguin pieces focus on the habits and rituals of wildlife in Antarctica.

Explorers Against Extinction Charity Auction

This year, I took part in the charity invitational auction, Sketch for Survival, donating my rhinoceros painting to the cause (and winning the People’s Choice award!). I am so excited to hear that the Explorers Against Extinction charity art auction raised a whopping £57,000 for The Real World Conservation Trust. This year was a record for the charity!
